choose to fly mid-week on a wednesday.

it might be cheaper for you to fly from London to Bangkok and then catch a cheap flight thru Air Asia to HCMC.

travel north to Hanoi and then catch a quick flight back to Bangkok.

Bing travel can help you find the best times to buy your ticket.

Should i book flights around Thailand and Vietnam before i go or when i get there?
I am planning on using a cheap flight company such as Air Asia to get around Thailand and Vietnam. Im trying to plan the trip but im thinking it might be easier to wait until i get there. Ive never been to Thailand and dont know how long i want to spend in each place nor do i know how far it is between places.

The plan is to book flights from England to Thailand and back then book the rest when i get there. Is this a good idea?

I need to find some cheap flights to Hanoi, Vietnam. When, What time etc?
I want to go backpacking around Vietnam for about a month in July through August time. When do you reckon would be the best time to try and get the cheapest flights out there (both in booking them and actually departing)
    Cheers

Could anyone tell advise me of a good cheap flight between Malaysia and Vietnam? Thanks :) ?
I am doing some travelling in November and have booked a round the world ticket. I want to do an extra stop in Vietnam (Hanoi) leaving from Malaysia – probably Kuala Lumpur.

I have tried searching the net, but there is so many different offers, I thought someone on here who has done this trip may be able to give me the wisdom of their experience.

I think it can be good but do consider even on air asia fares rise and sometimes overnight,so if u r ready to spend more and know more before u go,u may do as u want.
Also for lon to bkk u can use air asia via KL for cheaper or ba,virgin, thai, eva air direct flights as well as malaysia and singapore airlines, sometimes even kuwait airways, gulf, air india, jet via del can be cheaper.

While Air Asia is a budget carrier, Vietnam Airlines is a full service carrier. Vietnam Airlines has several special offers and discounts on their airfares and you might be able to avail of one of these depending upon your date of travel. Vietnam Airlines has an excellent in-flight service and cabin is comfortable in all classes.
